USAF general: Israel capable of hitting Iran
From The Washington Times:
"They have the capability to strike Iran," said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, a former fighter pilot who has trained with Israelis.
"It would be limited, though. They could do 30 to 40 'aim points' in the array. I'm not worried about them hitting the targets. They will suffer losses, but they are capable of doing it."
He said Israeli fighter pilots are "the best in the world. I've flown against them. They train better. They get more flying time."

Iran to Syria, Hizbullah: back off striking Israel (Aerial porcine moment)
From Ynetnews:
"Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki was sent to Damascus to urge Hizbullah to curb rocket attacks against Israel and to release two Israel Defense Forces soldiers captured a week ago in order to avoid further escalations, a London-based Arabic daily reported.
"The alliance stipulates that Iran would send arms and troops to back Syria should Damascus be attacked."
Jewish Kidz' Martyr Toys Set To Win Media Sympathies!
that keeps on giving!
Having analyzed world media sympathies towards Muslim radicals who teach their young to lace their suicide belts with screws and rat poison to inflict maximum carnage in a crowd of infidels, a desperate Jewish manufacturer of educational toys has launched a " Jewish Martyr Babies" marketing campaign, which they hope will finally make Reuters, BBC, CNN, and other networks view the Jewish experiencehave more favorably. They now offer their customers anthrax yarmulke, razor-wire-lined tallit, exploding gartel, strangling attarah, metal-piercing dreidels, and other novelty items that are "fun, educational, and lethal."
"When asked if the new trend is going to change the way his organization reports the news, an unnamed Reuters Middle Eastern stringer scoffed, "'This is just one of their cheap Jew marketing tricks to earn undeserved sympathy. Life would be so much less complicated if they just didn't exist.'"
"If we want the world to start liking us, Jewish children need to stop learning useless Western ideas like arts and sciences, and start learning how to become fanatical holy martyrs bent on destroying everything that doesn't conform to their new, pious outlook. At that point, international human rights groups and all progressive people will finally welcome us into their community on par with Palestinians.

Washington Post: 'Israel is a mistake' (UPDATED)
A certain Mr. Richard Co-hen (damn, what's with those odd Jewish-sounding names, anyway...) screeding in the prestigious Washington Post (what's up with that?) opines that:
"The greatest mistake Israel could make at the moment is to forget that Israel itself is a mistake. It is an honest mistake, a well-intentioned mistake, a mistake for which no one is culpable, but the idea of creating a nation of European Jews in an area of Arab Muslims (and some Christians) has produced a century of warfare and terrorism of the sort we are seeing now. Israel fights Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, but its most formidable enemy is history itself."
No doubt Mr. Co-hen, and his editors would like to hear from you. You can also contact them here.
Please do give him my warmest regards in your closely-reasoned, brief, and cool-headed discussion of what's what.
Oh yes, almost forgot: The Post's Ombudsman, Deborah Howell, is the readers' representative within the newspaper. E-mail her at ombudsman@washpost.com or call 202-334-7582.
Guess I posted this a bit too soon and could'a made a few bucks - er' shekels - at the WaPo: "Israel Dismantles; World's Problem's End"
If you bloggers post about this, please trackback or comment here, so we over at the secret WJIC (World Jewish-Israeli Conspiracy) can keep up with the luv.
UPDATE: Hey, Richard? Whassup' with that prayer your people always mumble... something, something about some guy named "Al Minim?" Readers - any ideas?
James Taranto at the Wall Street Journal "replies:"
"Some have criticized Israel for not responding proportionately to the attacks, but we'd counsel patience. After all, the Israelis aren't done yet."
UPDATE: Carl over at Israel Matzav has the ultimate in annotated, nuanced, "Fisking" throwdowns... It's long, but hey, Jerusalem wasn't built in a day, Mr. Co-hen...
