(Video) Comedy Central: So, Can We Call it Cowardly Antisemitism now?
Comedy Central website has published an anti-semitic game called "I.S.R.A.E.L. Attacks," in which a murderous robot called Israel is called upon to wipe out every cartoon character on the show. The short animated movie that introduces the premise of the game portrays a "Jew Producer" being "busted" for stealing cartoon characters. "I.S.R.A.E.L" is then sent out to destroy them all. (H-T: Israelinsider)
And that includes consecutively blowing up small kids as part of the action (viewable on the video clip on my site). Y'know, it's just what Jews do.
This slick, Hamas-level toxic Jew-hatred is aimed straight at small children who do not know better, while their parents ignore it, likely assuming it's just another silly online Flash video game. And what's even more galling is that it's from the same major media outlet, Comedy Central, that censored out any visual or verbal reference to Mohammed in a recent South Park episode, after receiving threats from Muslims.
But my post here isn't about or against Muslims or Islam. It's about virulent, poisonous Jew-hatred slowly welling upward into mainstream corporate American media (...and I just wonder how many Jews worked on this production, thinking it was cool and edgy, indie comedy).
Folks, keep your eyes on the ball, here: this isn't an overreaction to a silly animated cartoon for jaded kids. Cultural references like this - bizarre as they are - are also a reasonable barometer of what Jew-haters and their ilk can "get away with" injecting into the public discourse of an increasingly distracted, media-saturated populace under the rubric of "entertainment."
Little kids watch and play this game, imbibe saccharine Jew-hatred between jokes and bad animation, and then Jews and others wonder where the hate's coming from far down the road.
[screen grab appears here]

Wait - I know! Howzabout' we just change the series name to "J.I.H.A.D. Attack" and let's see what happens - just for sh*ts and giggles, you know; let's see who gets death threats first.
Nahhh. On second thought, let's run with it as is, and see who screams first that we're all paranoid and obsessive Yids shutting down valid debate about Israel via important illustrative cartoon metaphors, or some such drivel.
So, again I ask: can we call it cowardly antisemitism now - and do something to stop it?

UK Peer + IDF + Haiti = 'Teh Styupid is Strong in This One'
Jenny! Look!: That must be an Israeli baby-organ bandit sizing up his next meal now!
From the UK Jewish Chronicle:
Tonge: Investigate IDF stealing organs in Haiti
Baroness Tonge, the Liberal peer, said this week that Israel should set up an inquiry to disprove allegations that its medical teams in Haiti “harvested” organs of earthquake victims for use in transplants.
Her call has been sharply criticised by fellow LibDems, but party leader Nick Clegg has refused to act against her.
The organ theft claims were published last week in the Palestine Telegraph, an online journal based in Gaza of which Baroness Tonge is a patron.

Correction: Univ. of Ga. Student Newspaper Revives 'Cheap Jew' Canard

Cartoonist Bill Richards' editorial cartoon in University of Georgia's "Red & Black," newspaper on Thursday, November 12, 2009:
http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper871/stills/s5nf7pr1.jpg
Shows two Israeli soldiers standing near a barbed-wire and fenced gate, with a sign overhead calling it "Checkpoint Chaim," reminiscent of the Berlin Wall along what could be presumed as the West Bank security barrier.
The letters, "IDF" are written on the back of one soldier, and a word bubble over the other soldier, with a Jewish star on his helmet, says:
"And to think we got all this great stuff on clearance."Furious letters to the editor are here: http://media.www.redandblack.com/media/paper871/sections/20091113Opinions.html
From one letter, penned by several organizations:
"In the cartoon, there are three clear anti-Semitic overtones: the use of a stereotypical Jewish name in "Checkpoint Chaim", the placement of the Jewish star on the Israeli soldier's helmet and the suggestion that Jews care most about saving money in the caption.Other angry replies are here:
"To the reader: What did these three references add to the political opinion of the cartoon? The slur in the caption takes an edgy, yet legitimate political cartoon and turns it into an ugly smear.

"Serving and representing the diverse community of the University of Georgia, The Red & Black should exercise extreme caution in their editorial decisions regarding race or religion, especially in the context of editorial cartoons. We call upon the leadership of The Red & Black to publish a retraction and to condemn anti-Semitism on campus."

The Red & Black's reply?:
http://media.www.redandblack.com/media/storage/paper871/news/2009/11/13/Opinions/Editors.Note.On.Editorial.Cartoon-3831602.shtml
"The Red & Black received numerous comments about Thursday's editorial cartoon.
"We would like to clarify that the cartoon was not intended to be offensive or a comment on any one religion.
"This newspaper staff would never condone that kind of hatred, and we hope students on campus stand up against it.

Do They Got Baseball Down in Oz?

Because Glen Sheridan at The Australian newspaper slams this one out of the park:
..."Israel of the Western mind (and indeed of the Arab mind) is a hateful place: right-wing, militaristic, authoritarian, racist, ultra-religious, neo-colonial, narrow-minded, undemocratic, indifferent to world opinion, indifferent especially to Palestinian suffering.Yes, I know it's not a new post, but it's worth repeating."Yet the Israel I know is mostly secular, raucously, almost wildly democratic, has a vibrant left wing, having founded in the kibbutz movement one of the only successful experiments in socialism in human history. It is intellectually disputatious; any two Israelis will have three opinions and be happy to argue them to a lamp post. It is multi-ethnic, there is a great stress on human solidarity, there is due process. And I've never heard an Israeli speak casually about the value of Palestinian life. I've heard Israelis voice a desire to neutralise Hezbollah or remove Hamas from leadership in Gaza, but I've never in any context heard an Israeli express the view that the value of a human life is determined by race."

Kristallnacht: Then and Now

(Click on the image to read the headlines)
Two items from Aish for The 70th commemoration of Kristallnacht:
This November Jewish communities throughout the world will again gather to recall Kristallnacht -- and will unwittingly allow themselves, in some measure, to verbally embrace the very heresy that abetted the Holocaust.
Kristallnacht is German for "the night of crystal." And 70 years after the horrible events of 1938 should have given us by now sufficient perspective to expose the lie of a horrible WMD -- Word of Mass Deception -- that epitomizes the key to the most powerful methodology for murder perfected by the Nazis.
How, after all, were the Nazis able to commit their crimes under the veneer of civilized respectability? Upon analysis, the answer is obvious. They glorified the principle of murder by euphemism.

If you were a Jew in Europe in 1941, and you actually knew that Hitler was developing the means to carry out his threat to exterminate the Jews, what would you do? Dismiss the danger as overstated? Try to arouse the nations of the world to stop him? Or take upon yourself to employ every means possible -- both physically and spiritually -- to avert the catastrophe?

UK: outrage over Holocaust denier's Oxford invite
Oxford University’s world famous Oxford Union debating society has sparked outrage after it was revealed that they have invited Holocaust denier David Irving, who was recently released from an Austrian jail, to address students at the end of November. The Oxford Union has also asked British fascist leader Nick Griffin to join him, reports The Guardian.(What - and ruin a perfectly good day?)
“If Columbia can invite Ahmadinejad, then why shouldn’t we invite Irving?” one Oxford Union committee member asked.
Last month Irving told The Guardian that the Jews were responsible for “most of the wars of the last 100 years.”
Duncan Money, a second-year student at the university, said: “It is disappointing that the Oxford Union has chosen to promote and legitimize fascism.”
The Oxford Union had already been criticized for a debate they are holding later this month titled “This House Believes that One State is the Only Solution to the Israel-Palestine Conflict.” Norman Finkelstein, who has been accused of being an anti-Semite and Holocaust revisionist, will be one of the key speakers, as will former Israelis Avi Shlaim and Ilan Pappe, both of whom will be speaking against the continuing existence of Israel.
In his book, “The Holocaust Industry,” Finkelstein referred to Jewish leaders as “caricatures straight from the pages of Der Stuermer and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” On his website, he called Jewish historian Deborah Lipstadt the “Elsie the Cow Chair in Judeo-Yenta Studies.” And he said Auschwitz death camp survivor Elie Wiesel was “the resident clown of the Holocaust circus.”

Holocaust Memorial Day: online exhibitions

Please click here to view online exhibitions.
The central ceremonies, in the evening and the following morning, are held at Yad Vashem and are broadcast on the television. Marking the start of the day, in the presence of the Acting President of the State of Israel and the Prime Minister, dignitaries, survivors, children of survivors and their families, gather together with the general public to take part in the memorial ceremony at Yad Vashem in which six torches, representing the six million murdered Jews, are lit. The following morning, the ceremony at Yad Vashem begins with the sounding of a siren for two minutes throughout the entire country. For the duration of the sounding, work is halted, people walking in the streets stop, cars pull off to the side of the road and everybody stands at silent attention in reverence to the victims of the Holocaust.

'Kike Like Me'
Are you a Jew? Don’t ask Jamie Kastner. The question annoys the
Canadian documentary-maker. He gets asked it a lot.
So Kastner shot “Kike Like Me,” a road movie bowing at Toronto’s Hot
Docs documentary festival on April 24. In the film, Kastner answers a hypothetical “yes” when asked whether he’s Jewish, followed by an equally terse “Why do you want to know?” to gauge how friend and
foe reacts.
